1977 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 2
Delivered on the 01.08.1977 by Armstong Massey to Mr.B Farley of Wimbledon, London, sporting ‘BCF 1’ registration, the car was a special order to be finished in Masons Black with twin fine lines and Black hide interior piped Magnolia, a very smart livery the car still wears today. During Mr Farleys ownership the car was service every year by Rolls-Royce London service department at Hythe Road. In 1980 with 17,000 recorded miles, Mr Farley sold the car to Sawyer Funeral Service in Marlow at which point the maintenance and servicing was taken over by Lex Mead Rolls-Royce of Maidenhead. Sawyer Funeral Service’s owned the car for 23 years selling it in 2003. In 2003 now having covered 69,000 miles, the car was sold to its 3rd owner, Mr Burge a solicitor from Newport who had the car fastidiously maintained and serviced at main agents Broughtons Bentley of Cheltenham. The car has now covered 79,000 miles, due to the perfect main agent maintenance of the car its entire life, it looks and feels like a 30,000 mile example. The excellent history files includes a raft of paperwork, many invoices from Rolls-Royce main agents, the original handbook folder, complete with stamped service book. Overall this is a and very original and handsome example which has been maintained to the highest standards all its life and is presented in truly outstanding condition throughout.
