1964 Jaguar 3.8 MOD finished in Opalescent Dark Green with Biscuit hide interior. Offered with an impressive history file detailing the cars careful maintenance throughout the last 28 years of same family ownership. In November 1983 the car was owned by a Mr Scanlan of Brentwood, Essex. The next owner came in 1996, a Mr Stephen Hunt, the proprietor of Forest Garage in Leatherhead, Surrey. In January 1998 the Jaguar was purchased by Mrs Josephine Ribbon of Snelling, Kent, it remained in her family’s ownership until 2025. She kept a note book detailing the story of her ownership as well as the careful maintenance the car had lavished on it during her family’s long tenure, the note book as well as many invoices remain in the history file and make for very interesting reading. Showing just 71,000 miles and presenting in excellent condition throughout this beautiful Mk 2 is the desirable 3.8 manual overdrive model, the body and paintwork are in very good order and the car is set off by the chrome wire wheels and Coombs louvred bonnet.
