1934 Rolls Royce Phantom 11 Sedanca De Ville Touring Limousine by Windover

1934 Rolls Royce Phantom 11 Sedanca De Ville Touring Limousine by Windover. Finished in the classic combination of Black over Yellow with Black hide to the front and Fawn wool cloth to rear. The rear compartment features fold out occasional seating, beautifully figured highly polished veneer, Philco thermostatically controlled rear heater, yellow tinted glass division with match tinted glass vanity units and rear blinds. The front compartment is equally fine, with soft Black hide, highly polish veneers and an opening windscreen.  The exterior of this stunning Phantom features twin running boards with two spare wheels, Marchal 'Strilux' 12” headlamps, large touring truck and twin opera lights. Undoubtably one of the finest Phantom 2’s we have ever seen, Chassis number 150 SK boasts many Concours wins in its lifetime, winning the Rolls Royce Owners Club Concourse Touring Phantom 2 trophy and the Dudley trophy in 1994. Other notable successes were at the Rolls-Royce Enthusiast Club Rally Concours in 2002 which came with an invite to Her Late Majesty, Queens Elisabeth II’s Golden Jubilee tribute at Windsor Castle. Accompanying the car is a large suitcase full of trophies, plaques and rosettes as well as an impressive history file including the factory build records and many magazines and videos featuring this magnificent motor car. On the road, the car performs extremely well, starting on the button and driving just as it should with a quiet and powerful engine. A strikingly similar Phantom 2 Sedanca De Ville, also by Barker, was immortalised in the film ‘The Yellow Rolls-Royce’, that car, chassis No. 9JS is now on display at the rewound Blackhawk Museum in California.  150 SK  is presented in truly exceptional condition throughout and would be a great asset to any collection and is perfectly suited to showing and touring.
